![]() Use the ControlSystemSample.hal file that came with the Crestron Support Package when working with the examples. Make sure to have the right configuration file open in Halogen when testing your system. This process goes away when you exit Halogen. A virtual HAL starts running on your PC when you launch Halogen. Launch Halogen on the PC so that it can pretend to be a HAL. Configure their IP settings and plug them into the Ethernet switch using the Ethernet cables. Both should reside on the same network so that they can communicate easily. The principal components of your system are the Windows PC and Crestron controller.
